High Gear is the first studio album by the American hard rock band Howe II, released in 1989 through Shrapnel Records. Howe II was a short-lived group fronted by guitarist Greg Howe and his brother Albert Howe on vocals.
Also features a guest appearance by guitarists Mike Varney (Guitar Master) and Jason Becker (ex-David Lee Roth/ex-Cacophony). This debut is a highly overlooked album that both rockers as well as musicians will love and certainly deserves more attention than it got back then.
