I Pass for Human follows the downward spiral of Jane (Eleanor Whitledge) following the heroin overdose and death of her boyfriend, Dax (Bryan Small). Jane soon finds herself using heroin herself to cope with the pain of mourning, as well as the shock of haunting visions of Dax following her.

Ce drame dresse un portrait non complaisant de l’univers de la drogue. Les comportements décrits – meurtres de sang-froid, suicide à la roulette russe, usage de diverses drogues, tentative de viol – ainsi qu’un univers tordu où aucune rédemption n’est permise sont autant d’éléments qui incitent le jury à réserver ce produit à un public ayant acquis une maturité certaine.
