Marc Ducret, né le 19 aout 1957 à Paris, est un guitariste français. Biographie. Autodidacte, il commence à jouer très tôt (17 ans) en tant que professionnel 1. Son jeu est alors très marqué par le rock, le bebop et empreint de virtuosité.
7 janv. 2022 · The Cave of Winds marks saxophonist Tony Malaby’s return to the format of his 2000 debut, Sabino: a quartet with guitar, but this time with Ben Monder in place of Marc Ducret. Bassist Michael Formanek and drummer Tom Rainey return as the original Sabino rhythm section.
28 janv. 2022 · Here, Sabino's original guitarist Marc Ducret (quarantined in France) is replaced by Monder for this June 2020 studio session. Malaby penned six of the seven tracks here, alternating between the swinging "Corinthian Leather" and the abstraction of "Recrudescence" and the title track.

Avec Sabino, Malaby réactive une formation mise en sommeil depuis vingt ans. À l’origine aux côtés de Marc Ducret, le quartet réunit deux musiciens avec qui il a, par ailleurs, enregistré encore dernièrement en trio : Ben Monder, à la guitare et Tom Rainey, à la batterie, participent au Live at The 55 Bar, sorti en 2021.
