16 févr. 2003 · This release is especially interesting because of the studio production by Jimmy Miller, the Rolling Stones producer, the participation of Heartbreakers members Walter Lure and Jerry Nolan, and a track with Wayne Kramer (MC5), where he plays and sings.
11 févr. 2007 · Originally released in 1983, this hodge-podge collection of songs--some live, some studio tracks--is too hit-and-miss and will really only appeal to full-fledged Thunders fans and completists. Even though it was co-produced by Stones' producer Jimmy Miller, it sounds like it was barely produced at all.

Another era, another partnership: the half-studio/ half-live Gang War LP documents Thunders’ nearly forgotten 1980-vintage sideband with ex-MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer. Totally crap sound ruins the concert portion (mostly covers), and the studio sessions are nearly as bad.
