Nahor (Hebrew: נָחוֹר – Nāḥōr; Greek: Ναχώρ – Nakhṓr) is the son of Serug according to the Hebrew Bible in Genesis Chapter 11. He is said to have lived to the age of 148 years old or 208 according to the Greek Septuagint (LXII) and had a son, Terah, at the age of 29 (79 in the LXII) .

Nahor ben Serug , King of Ur and Agade was born in 2155 BC, in Ūr, Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar, Iraq as the son of Serug 'the Semite' King of Ur and Agade and Milcah Bat Kaber. He married Iyaseka bint Nesteg of Chaldea in Ur, Pyrénées-Orientales, Languedoc-Roussillon, France.
Son of Serug, of the line of Shem (Gen 11:10-25; 1 Chron 1:26), father of Terah, grandfather of Abraham, and as such an ancestor of Jesus . After the birth of Terah in his twenty-ninth year, Nahor lived a hundred and nineteen years, and had other sons and daughters.
Nahor was the son of Serug and the brother of Abraham, and the grandfather of Jacob. He lived in Haran and had twelve sons who became the ancestors of the Arameans.
