5 juil. 2005 · The International Olympic Committee (IOC) today elected London as the host city of the Games of the XXX Olympiad in 2012 during the 117th IOC Session in Singapore. London beat Paris in the final round of voting by 54 votes to 50.
London elected Host City for the third time after the 1908 and 1948 Games. On 6 July 2005, the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Jacques Rogge announced London as the Host City for the Games of the XXX Olympiad to be held in 2012.
