Alsonso suggests season 5 could end on a cliffhanger that the movie wraps up, but Kripke doesn't seem convinced by the idea. A movie could be a great way to end The Boys, but it might mess up Kripke's clear vision for the end of the show.

He wants to see The Boys get a feature film following Season 5 to truly conclude the story. It doesn't seem likely that will end up happening, however, as Alonso noted his pushing for that to happen hasn't been a success so far.
