Il y a 4 jours · This one was a struggle in some ways. Used John Ashbery’s"Self-Portrait in Convex Mirror” as a bank to pull from when I got stuck. It’s the chord movement that came first and then I tried to fit with the G in there, then lyrically it didn’t fit, had to cut the G. G comes back in the chorus though, which felt right in the end.
