There was a rumor that went around that Robert Palmer (the suave, sartorially impressive singer) wanted to make an album with a heavy metal band. After listening to this album he decided he really wanted to record with the Scorpions.

Klaus spoke of how ‘Crossfire’ was written (years before ‘Wind of Change’) about the vulnerability Germans felt during the Cold War and Mikkey Dee successfully emulated Herman Rarebell’s military style drumming on the original.
