Marty Stuart has long been known as ‘The Keeper of The Flame’ of real country music. An archivist and collector of country music relics, he took possession of late Kentucky Colonels and Byrds guitarist Clarence White’s heavily-modified 50s Telecaster in the early 80s.

White tragically died in 1973 when he was struck by a drunk driver while loading gear into his car, but the original StringBender Tele is in capable hands, as country legend Marty Stuart bought it from the family.
