First, it introduced one of my favorite minor characters in the series -- Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock's older, more observant and deductively more powerful, but more sedentary brother. I always enjoy the interplay between Sherlock and Mycroft and this introduction was particularly pleasant.

Sherlock continues towards the desk, but now he’s a young boy – about eleven years old – and wearing dark trousers and a shirt with a buttoned dark green cardigan over it.

Il y a 5 jours · Sherlock season 4’s biggest crime was introducing Eurus Holmes, the “secret” and highly problematic sister of Sherlock and Mycroft. Eurus’ presence made no sense and she was the mastermind of the most nonsensical “trap” in the whole series, leaving Sherlock with the most underwhelming, confusing, and frustrating series finale.
