Foster the People – amerykański zespół indiepopowy powstały w 2009 roku w Los Angeles. Grupę tworzą: Mark Foster (wokal, keyboard , pianino , gitara oraz miksy), Mark Pontius ( perkusja ), Isom Innis ( marakasy i drugi wokal), Sean Cimino ( gitara elektryczna i drugi wokal) i Phil Danyew ( gitara klasyczna i drugi wokal) [2] .
Foster the People began promoting new music following extensive touring in support of their second studio album, Supermodel (2014), in late 2016. During the recording sessions, Foster described waking up each day and witnessing tragedies, traumatic events and political scandals in the news; citing that the band sought to create an album of joy amidst the chaos of current events.
"Sit Next to Me" is a song by the American indietronica band Foster the People. The song is featured as the third track on the band's third studio album Sacred Hearts Club and was released as the record's third single by Columbia Records on July 13, 2017.
"Pumped Up Kicks" is a song by American indie pop band Foster the People. It was released as the band's debut single in September 2010, and the following year was included on their EP Foster the People and their debut album, Torches.
