The Art Students League of New York is proud to present the annual Juried Selection Exhibition, which features juror selected work from our Student Salons, representing some of the highest caliber work being produced by League artists today. This exhibition is a celebration of our students and our community’s commitment to artmaking.

  4. Our workshops meet in-person at The League's studios on 57th Street, and sometimes in locations around New York City. Taught by the same renowned instructors who teach our legendary monthly classes, The League's workshops allow students to devote a week, or even just a weekend, to a special topic or technique.

  5. Seeds provides full, public school scholarships to artists ages 8 and up to study with renowned instructors at The Art Students League, allowing students from across the city into The League’s legendary studios. Since its founding, Seeds of The League has given out more than 650 scholarships.

  6. A Japanese native, Sonomi Kobayashi is a New York-based artist, art educator, and independent curator. She received a Four-Year Certificate from The Art Students League in Painting, where she also studied printmaking and sculpture, and was awarded a Merit Scholarship and the Will Barnet Grant in Printmaking.
