The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute is the culmination of Lee Strasberg’s work. His students represent the 50 years Lee Strasberg spent training actors—from the Group Theatre in 1931, through the Actors Studio and the Institute until 1981, and beyond through the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

El Instituto está ubicado en 115 East 15th Street en Nueva York, también conocida como Lee Strasbeg Way.
Das Institut wurde 1969 von Lee Strasberg gegründet, dem damaligen Leiter des Actors Studio in New York. Dem vorausgegangen war die Eröffnung des Actors Studio West. Es besteht noch heute.
