This is the most conflicted I’ve been on a film in quite some time. I thoroughly enjoyed Dallas Buyers Club in a narrative sense, and I even agreed with part of what it was trying to say about the greediness of the FDA in refusing to give dying patients the medicine they need to survive, in favor of making a profit.
