The Office of Special Programs at Tisch School of the Arts provides access to the arts. Whether you’re an NYU or visiting college student, high school student or working professional, we provide you with the introductory exposure to the performing or cinematic arts and the advanced-level training to grow your craft.
The Tisch School of the Arts offers a limited number of tuition scholarships. Tuition scholarships are funds applied toward the cost of tuition. There is no separate application for them, and all students are automatically considered after you apply for admission and indicate your interest in financial aid on the admission application.
NYU Tisch Animation Area serves the needs of all Film and TV students for both animation and live-action projects. The curriculum is varied and integrated with both traditional animation and 2D and 3D animation courses at fundamentals, intermediate and advanced levels, as well as storyboarding, titles, optical and digital effects, life drawing and history and criticism classes.

25 déc. 2022 · In 1972, the Stella Adler Studio of Acting became the first professional actor training school to become affiliated with NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. The program has continued since, leading students to a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and combining academic studies at New York University with professional training at the studio.
The Tisch School of the Arts was founded to improve education for both theater and film industries. In 1985, Preston Robert Tisch gave the money to the school that helped to renovate it and buy new locatis on Broadway. As a symbol of gratefulness of the school's management and the generosity of the Tisch, the school got its modern name. References
