Scott 4 was the first Walker album to consist solely of self-penned songs. The first track is a single B side, tracks 2 to 15 are from the four "Scott" albums, and entirely written by him, tracks 16 to 19 are co-written by Ady Semel and are from "'Til the Band Comes In", and the last one is a wondrous oddity: a song from a French western (shot in the Camargue !), the only one here not from Scott Walker.
