25 avr. 2023 · While at Gordonstoun, King Charles took part in a many non-academic activities including sailing, singing in the school choir, playing trumpet and cello, and playing the king in a school production of Macbeth. He was a school Guardian (head boy) in his final year as well as being a Colour Bearer (prefect) and head of his boarding house.
An Sprachen hat Gordonstoun Deutsch, Französisch, Spanisch, Latein und Griechisch im Angebot. Boarding: 90% der Schüler wohnen im Internat und somit ist Gordonstoun fast eine sogenannte 'full boarding school'. 35% der Schülerschaft ist international und gut über die neun gemütlichen Internatshäuser verteilt.
Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh was one of Gordonstoun’s first pupils, joining in 1934, the year the school was founded by German educationalist Kurt Hahn. Prince Philip was a stalwart pupil at Gordonstoun; characterful, good natured, committed and always loyal to the school.
