I like all the Peckinpah films, even Convoy has a a cool existentialist crisis thing going on. The only two duds for me are The Deadly Companions & The Killer Elite which are a bit bland.

With the film re-cut without his input, it wasn’t until 2022 that a watchable version of the director’s cut emerged, scanned from Peckinpah’s personal negative.
