Beuret took care of the house work and Rodin sometimes helped her sew buttons. On Sundays, the young lovers went for long walks in the woods and the countryside near Paris. They had a son whom the artist did not recognize, named Auguste-Eugène Beuret (1866-1934), he served as a model for Rodin as well as a workshop boy.
