Blondie és el nom d'una de les bandes més exitoses i originals dels anys setanta, part de l'anomenada Nova Onada i precedent estètic i musical del pop dels vuitanta. Amb origen a Nova York, el grup va iniciar el seu camí musical el 1975 juntament amb altres bandes locals com The Ramones , dins del moviment anomenat punk rock i que havia aparegut recentment.

Debbie Harry. Deborah Ann Harry (born Angela Trimble; July 1, 1945) is an American singer, songwriter and actress, best known as the lead vocalist of the band Blondie. Four of her songs with the band reached No. 1 on the US charts between 1979 and 1981. Born in Miami, Florida, Harry was adopted as an infant and raised in Hawthorne, New Jersey.
