Until then, what was drawn on computer screens was just like on a typewriter. It was on the insistence of Steve Jobs that the first Mac had the ability to display different fonts.

Steve Jobs lived without external restraint, and it unleashed his creative will and energy, but it also made him a jerk. It makes this biography a very interesting read too. Issacson does a good job revealing this man, with all his faults as well as his virtues. Jobs was a sensitive man, not a psychopath. He cried a lot.
