An Internet Go server is a server that allows players of the game of Go to play against opponents online. The two fundamental types of Go server are real-time servers and turn-based servers.
To get started you need to (1) register your own account, (2) learn how to connect to the IGS game server, (3) download a client program and install it on your computer, and (4) learn the basic commands.
GoPanda2 is a modern and user-friendly client to Pandanet, the largest online Go server. Download the latest version, check the manual, report bugs, and join the community of thousands of players on Pandanet.
To log in to Pandanet-IGS for playing, chatting and watching games, you will need two things: An account. If you don’t have, please go to the registration form. You can also log in to Pandanet-IGS as guest, with limited access. A client. We recommend GoPanda2 and, for iOS and android users, Pandanet (Go).
