Andrea Joy Cook (born July 22, 1978) is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her role as Supervisory Special Agent Jennifer "JJ" Jareau on the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds (2005–2020, 2022–).

A.J. Cook is a Canadian-born actress and director, best known for her role as Jennifer "JJ" Jareau on Criminal Minds. She has also appeared in films such as The Virgin Suicides, Final Destination 2 and Back Fork, and directed episodes of Criminal Minds and Criminal Minds: Evolution.
She can currently be seen reprising her role on CRIMINAL MINDS: EVOLUTION for Paramount+. AJ has also directed an episode of CRIMINAL MINDS: EVOLUTION this season and did so in season 14 of CRIMINAL MINDS, as well. Her film credits include THE VIRGIN SUICIDES, OUT COLD, BACK FORK and FINAL DESTINATION 2.
