Among numerous other alpine solos, Leclerc made the first winter solos of Patagonia’s Torre Egger (8,809 feet) and the Emperor Face of Mount Robson (12,972 feet) in Canada.
Marc-Andre Leclerc was one of the world's top young alpinists when he tragically lost his life climbing on the Mendenhall Towers in Alaska in March 2018 at the age of only 25.
