2 févr. 2024 · The control plate became famous on the Höfner violin bass —the model 500/1 that was released in 1956 and is often referred to as the “Beatle Bass” because of Paul McCartney. Höfner also used this wiring on a lot of their early solidbody electric guitars, like the famous model 172.
