If you’re in the market for a Garmin Varia radar, then it’s certainly worth weighing the slight uptick in new features, primarily if you think you might utilize the app-based connectivity (sans-bike computer basically). The added battery is basically a wash, being only one hour more.
28 juin 2024 · Based on my experience, I consider Garmin Varia RTL515 (also available at rei.com) the best cycling radar overall. It’s reliable and has accurate multi-object detection, bright light, good side visibility, and good battery life.
