Sharon Apple (シャロン・アップルSharon Appuru) is a virtual idol and one of the antagonists of the Macross Plus OVA and its theatrical adaptation, Macross Plus Movie Edition. She also appeared in the short-lived manga adaptation, Macross Plus: TAC Name.
When they meet again, they discover that Myung is now the producer of Sharon Apple, the hottest entertainer in the galaxy, who just happens to be an AI hologram. Unbeknownst to the public, the Sharon AI is incomplete and requires Myung to provide emotions during concerts.

Macross Plus. The year is 2040 and the galaxy is flourishing with several colonies and advanced technology. AI is near perfection and the current top idol is the near-completed Virturoid Idol Sharon Apple. All that is missing are her actual feelings, which instead are supplied by Myung Fang Lone.
Sharon Apple. Sharon Apple is an artificial idol. She exists as a computer which produces a hologram. While her producers say that she has an artificial intelligence that includes emotional programming.
