Ian David McShane (born September 29, 1942, Blackburn, England) is an English actor who appeared as drug dealer Esteban Montoya in the episode "Knock, Knock... Who's There?", and General Manuel Borbon, dictator of Costa Morada in the episode "Freefall" of the series Miami Vice.

Miami Vice is an American crime drama television series created by Anthony Yerkovich and produced by Michael Mann for NBC. The series stars Don Johnson as James "Sonny" Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas as Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs, two Metro-Dade Police Department detectives working undercover in Miami.
Montoya is released from jail, owing to the drug evidence having disappeared. Tubbs and Crockett are called in for a chat with Internal Affairs, where agent Stroh questions Crockett's decision to bring the full $250,000 to a dry run and reveals there were no sanctioned DEA operations last night.
