3 juil. 2010 · a couple things to look for: there should be a drainline that allows the condensed water from the humid air to be able to drain outside. If this is plugged, it can cause the catch pan to overflow and it has to go somewhere. the other thing I would look for is the unit being level.
7 août 2022 · We just noticed water damage in the wall beneath our recently installed mini split. It was installed in the center of the wall but directly above a built-in bookcase unit. Could the lack of clearance above and below the unit have caused this?
There is water dripping from my indoor unit, what should I do? You should check to see if your return air filters are clean and if they aren't, you should remove and clean them before re-installing them.
During operation and immediately after stopping the unit, the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner's piping may be heard. Also, noise may be particularly noticeable for about 2-3 minutes after starting operation (sound of coolant flowing).
