The CL-227 Sentinel is a remote-controlled unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) made by Canadair. It displays a distinctively unusual bulbous peanut shaped profile which gave it its nickname of the flying peanut. Lift is provided by a set of coaxial rotors emanating from the waist of the system.

Le CL-227 est un système de reconnaissance sans pilote qui peut atteindre 130 km/h et près de 1 500 mètres d’altitude. Les 6 hélices sont montées en trios et tournent à l’opposée. Pour réduire sa signature infrarouge et radar, le drone est fait principalement d’aluminium et l’air du moteur est évacué vers le haut.

The CL-227 is an unmanned reconnaissance system that can reach speeds of up to 130 km/h and altitudes of up to 1,500 metres. The six propellers are mounted in groups of three, and rotate in opposite directions.
