Tomb Raider Anniversary est une remasterisation du Tomb Raider original sorti en 1996, qui remplit deux fonctions. Premièrement il fête les 10 ans d’existence de la franchise Tomb Raider, et en second lieu, il réécrit légèrement l’histoire originale afin de préparer les événements de Tomb Raider Underworld.
