John Wright dit Jackie Wright est un comédien britannique né en 1905 à Belfast (Irlande du nord) où il est mort en janvier 1989. Il a été rendu célèbre par sa participation aux sketches de Benny Hill dans lesquels il jouait le rôle du « petit vieux » qui se faisait taper sur la tête par ses compagnons.
John Wright (24 September 1904 – 11 January 1989), credited professionally as Jackie Wright, also nicknamed Little Jackie and Uncle Jackie, was a Northern Irish comedian. He is best known for being the bald-headed sidekick of Benny Hill on his television programme for fifteen years.
Jackie Wright. Actor: The Benny Hill Show. One of twelve children, Jackie Wright started out as a body builder in the car trade, even working for a time in America upholstering Cadillacs. After the Depression he drifted back to his native Belfast and travelled the country as a music-hall trombonist and supporting comic.
