Paul Charles Caravello (July 12, 1950 – November 24, 1991), better known as Eric Carr, was an American musician. He was the drummer for the rock band Kiss from 1980 until his death in 1991. Caravello was selected as the new Kiss drummer after Peter Criss departed.

ERIC CARR. THE LIFE OF A LEGEND. HOW IT ALL BEGAN. Born as Paul Charles Caravello on July 12, 1950, to Albert and Connie Caravello, Carr was of Italian descent. He grew up in the East New York section of Brooklyn in New York City. Paul attended the High School of Art and Design. He majored in photography, but later decided to become a cartoonist.

Eric Carr. American musician, born 12 July 1950 in Brooklyn, New York, USA and died 24 November 1991 in New York City, New York, USA. He replaced Peter Criss as drummer in Kiss in 1980. Carr was previously a member of the band Creation (18) and survived the deadly Gulliver's Nightclub fire in 1974.
