26 août 2022 · Our updated logo introduces new custom letterforms that are lighter in weight and reflect a more modern aesthetic. The second “o” has returned as a letter, giving more focus to our iconic tilt. The tilt has been slightly refined but continues to maintain its distinct character.
The name Roblox was settled on on January 30, 2004 and the logo shown below was the first logo used, a very simple one created with the Arial typeface, which attempted to convey fun and creativity with its variety of colors.
On January 10, 2017, for the first time in eleven years, Roblox unveiled a completely new logo, set in a modified Gill Sans Ultra Bold typeface. The logo is reminiscent of Mike Rayhawk's brainstorm sketches from March 2006.
The Roblox logo currently has distinctiveness with its tilt, which represents building, progression, and motion. In refining the logo, we wanted to retain the equity of the tilt while also reflecting the evolution of our platform.
