Lawrence Lessig, né le 3 juin 1961 à Rapid City (Dakota du Sud), est un juriste américain de notoriété internationale. Il est actuellement professeur de droit à l'université Harvard où il est le Roy L. Furman Professor of Law and Leadership [1].
Lester Lawrence Lessig III (born June 3, 1961) is an American legal scholar and political activist. He is the Roy L. Furman Professor of Law at Harvard Law School and the former director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. He is the founder of Creative Commons and of Equal Citizens.
Beginning in the mid-1990s, his focus shifted to the Internet and intellectual property. Since 2007, his focus has been on institutional corruption, and the fight to establish a representative democracy in America.
Lawrence Lessig is a renowned legal scholar and activist who teaches at Harvard Law School and has written several books on law, technology, and democracy. He is the founder of Equal Citizens and Creative Commons, and has clerked for Justice Scalia and Judge Posner.
