Magnus Hirschfeld, né le 14 mai 1868 à Kolberg et mort le 14 mai 1935 à Nice, est un médecin allemand. Premier à étudier la sexualité humaine sur des bases scientifiques et dans sa globalité (il a fondé l' Institut de sexologie à Berlin ), il est l'un des pères fondateurs des mouvements de libération homosexuelle.

Magnus Hirschfeld (1868–1935) was a German Jewish doctor and a leading researcher of sex, sexuality, and gender. He wrote and lectured widely on these topics, treated and advised patients, and worked to promote the rights of those who did not conform to existing gender or sexual norms.
