Morris Mike Medavoy (born January 21, 1941) is an American film producer and business executive. He is the co-founder of Orion Pictures, the former chairman of TriStar Pictures, the former head of production for United Artists, and the current chairman and CEO of Phoenix Pictures .
Morris Mike Medavoy (né le 21 janvier 1941) est un producteur de films et dirigeant d'entreprise américain. Cofondateur de Orion Pictures en 1978, il a également été président de TriStar Pictures, et chef de la production pour United Artists entre 1974 et 1978.
From agent to studio chief to producer, he has been involved with over 300 feature films, of which 17 have been nominated and 7 have won Best Picture Oscars®, as well as numerous international film festival awards. Medavoy began his career at Universal Studios in 1964.
