Aldo Cibic (né en 1955 à Schio, Vicence, Italie) est un designer et architecte italien. Biographie. Aldo Cibic se consacre au design à 22 ans. Il rejoint Ettore Sottsass à Milan et ils y forment, avec d’autres créateurs ( Matteo Thun et Marco Zanini), le groupe de Memphis en 1980. Le groupe apporte une réflexion sur le néo design jusqu’en 1989.
Cibic Workshop is a multidisciplinary studio founded by Aldo Cibic in the late Eighties, with offices in Italy and China. It works on diverse projects ranging from architecture to interiors, design and multimedia, with a focus on social interactions and sustainable development.
Aldo Cibic is Honorary Professor at the Tongji University, Shanghai. In 2021 he has been appointed Honorary Professor of Urban Studies at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences .

Aldo Cibic (Schio, 1955) est un designer italien. Il s'est affirmé comme concepteur à travers un parcours original et complexe. À 24 ans il faisait déjà partie du studio d'Ettore Sottsass en tant que collaborateur, avec Michele De Lucchi, Matteo Thun et Marco Zanini.
Aldo Cibic Memphis is often described as the quintessential postmodern design movement. Many of its members, however, were trained within modernism, and earlier in their careers had been taught to admire abstraction and utilitarian efficiency.
