Antonio Meucci (né le 13 avril 1808 à San Frediano, un quartier de la commune de Florence, alors dans l'Empire français, et mort le 18 octobre 1889 à Staten Island, quartier de New York, aux États-Unis) est un inventeur italien, notamment connu pour sa contribution à l'invention du téléphone.

Antonio Meucci was born in Florence, Italy to Amatis Meucci and Domenica Pepi, in 1808. From an early age he showed an interest in technical matters. A few years after completing his schooling, he became chief engineer at the Florence's most important theater.
