Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy (Bengali: হোসেন শহীদ সোহ্রাওয়ার্দী; Urdu: حسین شہید سہروردی; 8 September 1892 – 5 December 1963) was a Pakistani Bengali barrister and politician.
Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy (en ourdou حسین شہید سہروردی, en bengali হোসেন শহীদ সোহ্রাওয়ার্দী) est un homme d'État, né le 8 septembre 1892 à Midnapore et mort le 5 décembre 1963 à Beyrouth. Meneur politique de la Ligue musulmane avant la partition des Indes, il a été le Premier ministre du Pakistan du 12 septembre 1956 au 17 octobre 1957.

In 1946, Suhrawardy headed the Muslim League government, as Prime Minister, in Bengal. On 16 August 1946, mobs of Muslims attacked Hindus in their demand for a Pakistan. Suhrawardy is often held responsible for not intervening. In 1956, Iskander Mirza made Suhrawardy Prime Minister after Chaudhry Muhammad Ali had resigned.
On 27 April 1947, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, the Prime Minister of Bengal and a Muslim League leader, addressed a press conference in New Delhi outlining his opposition to the looming partition of Bengal under the British government's plans.
