Lieutenant General Sir Oliver William Hargreaves Leese, 3rd Baronet, KCB, CBE, DSO (27 October 1894 – 22 January 1978) was a senior British Army officer who saw distinguished active service during both the world wars.

Leese étudie au collège d'Eton quand la Première Guerre mondiale éclate, il s'enrôle dans les "Coldstream Guards". Il est blessé durant la bataille de la Somme en 1914.
Oliver William Hargreaves Leese était un officier très proche du général britannique Bernard Montgomery. Leese combattit d'abord en France, puis en Afrique du Nord, et enfin dans la péninsule italienne à la tête de la 8e armée britannique, avec laquelle il participa à la bataille de Monte Cassino.
