Denzel Spencer (born April 18, 1996), better known by his stage name Roy Woods (also stylized as Roy Wood$), is a Canadian singer, rapper, and songwriter. He signed with Drake's record label OVO Sound, an imprint of Warner Records in 2014.

Born Denzel Spencer in Brampton, Ontario, Wood$ first caught the attention of award-winning rapper Drake in 2015, going on to be signed to the OVO SOUND label and debuting his first single.
