Son épouse Mamie-Claire Cornelius a confirmé son décès à la suite d’une bataille contre le cholangiocarcinome, une forme rare et agressive de cancer des voies biliaires.

Laakso is an indie pop band formed 2001 in Sweden. All their records have been produced by Jari Haapalainen.
Led by singer/songwriter Markus Krunegård, who embarked on a successful solo career in the late 2000s, Laakso is a Swedish indie pop band that released a few albums during the mid-2000s prior to the departure of its frontman.
