Brian Dunkleman is an American comedian, actor, and television personality. He is best known as being co-host with Ryan Seacrest on the first season of American Idol, in 2002.
20 oct. 2023 · Brian Dunkleman was Ryan Seacrest's co-host on American Idol season 1, but he left the show in 2002. It was considered a mistake when Brian, now 51, quit the hit series. However, Brian had no hosting experience, and he felt he was not doing his best work on the show.
Brian was the voice of 'Stanford' on the MTV animated series "3South", as well as characters on "The Family Guy" and "Proud Family". Most notably Brian hosted the first season of "American Idol", and since then has hosted pilots for VH1 and FOX, and has acted in pilots for ABC and 20th Century Fox.
