John Cody Carpenter (born May 7, 1984) is an American musician and composer. He is the son of film director John Carpenter and actress Adrienne Barbeau. Carpenter is mostly known for his work with his godfather and musician Daniel Davies, as well as his various solo projects.

Cody co-wrote, co-produced, and performed on the acclaimed Lost Themes (2015-2024) albums with his father and Daniel Davies. From 2016-2018, Cody toured North America and Europe with his father and a 6 piece band, performing material from both Lost Themes albums and his father's films.
