Pro Football Hall of Fame. Charles Henry Noll (January 5, 1932 – June 13, 2014) was an American professional football player and head coach. Regarded as one of the greatest head coaches of all time, his sole head coaching position was for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL) from 1969 to 1991.

Chuck Noll was the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers for 23 seasons, winning four Super Bowls and nine division titles. He is a member of the class of 1993 and a graduate of the University of Dayton.
