New Favorite is the fourth album by bluegrass music group Alison Krauss & Union Station, released August 14, 2001. The album peaked in the top 50 of the Billboard 200 and within the top 5 of the Billboard charts for both Country and Bluegrass and was certified gold.
In 2017, Tyminski released a new solo album, Southern Gothic, through Mercury Records Nashville. The lead single was "Bloodline". The bluegrass album, God Fearing Heathen, was released on 23 June 2023. Tyminski is an avid golfer, and was named to Golf Digest's "Top 100 Golfers in Music."

Dan Tyminski (né Daniel John Tyminski le 20 juin 1967) est un compositeur, chanteur et musicien américain de bluegrass. Membre du groupe Alison Krauss and Union Station, il a lancé deux albums solo : Carry Me Across the Mountain (2000) et Wheels (2008) [1].
