In the mid-1990s, Easton produced and played on the first two albums by Amy Rigby. He was also the lead guitarist on Jules Shear's 1994 album 'Healing Bones'. Easton was a founding member of Creedence Clearwater Revisited, a Spin-off group consisting of Stu Cook and Doug Clifford of Creedence Clearwater Revival.

En 1994, Rod Argent coproduit (avec Peter Van Hooke) et joue sur l'album Healing Bones de Jules Shear et il y fait aussi les arrangements, on y retrouve, entre autres, Elliot Easton l'ex-guitariste des Cars, Tony Levin à la basse et Jerry Marotta à la batterie qui jouent aussi avec Peter Gabriel.
Healing Bones includes Shear's first release of a cover, "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Any More" (originally a hit for The Walker Brothers). It also includes a song written with Rick Danko of The Band, "Never Again Or Forever". Elliot Easton played lead guitar on all tracks.
