This is a tale about two children who are put in a foster home, and then on Halloween they breakout and are rescued by their eccentric grandfather who is in a Halloween costume of an eyeball.
Ten-year-old George ( Nathaniel Moreau) lives in a dilapidated home near the Halifax Harbour with his grandfather Captain Waters ( Ian Bannen ). Captain Waters is a wheelchair-using former sailor. He is fond of telling George ghost stories.
Comédie fantaisiste de Paul Donovan avec Nathaniel Moreau, Vicki Ridler, Ian Bannen. Un jeune orphelin est arraché à son grand-père bien-aimé pour être confié à un couple parcimonieux qui l'accueille surtout pour des raisons financières. Histoire traitée avec bonne humeur. Comique plutôt gros et caricatural. Mise en scène inégale.
